I arrived late due to a delayed flight, but the reception staff at Parkhotel "Am Schanzchen" were extremely helpful and accommodating. They made sure I had a smooth check-in process and even suggested nearby places I could visit while waiting for my room to be ready. The location of the hotel, right by the river, provided stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and the balcony was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Location is everything and this hotel has it all , right on the river bank with scenic walks and the nearby town centre just €10 away. Despite being close to the train tracks, noise is never an issue thanks to soundproof rooms. Staff are welcoming and professional from check, in to check, out. Breakfast is delicious and always well stocked. the room was spacious with a small balcony offering a great view of the river. While parking can be a bit tough, the location and service more than make up for it.

The River View Balcony: I felt like royalty sitting on my river view balcony, overlooking the majestic Rhine. It was as if I had my own personal throne, enjoying the breathtaking views while sipping on a glass of wine.

Room Cleanliness: Check-in was a bit of a hiccup as our room wasn't cleaned upon arrival. However, the issue was quickly resolved, and it seemed to be a minor oversight.

Spent Xmas here and had a great time! Loved the stunning views from my room of the river and valley, as well as the convenience of the hotel's location next to the river. Really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make my stay memorable.

The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which would have been a bonus. parking was a bit of a challenge as the hotel's own parking was limited and additional parking was across a busy street.
